And what you should snack on while listening…

Get ready for innovation, adventure, and a really good time - it’s Sagittarius season! Once again, we’re hyped to be your guide to this optimistic, intellectual, and fun loving season with our Sagittarius playlist and, as always, 100% organic vegan, gluten free, and kosher snack recommendations. Sagittarius, the 9th sign of the western zodiac, is a fire sign symbolized by the archer. Sagittarius is mostly known for their love of adventure and need to be free (they will not be tied down) but what most don’t know is that Sagittarius is also the sign of higher learning, academia, and spirituality! If you’re looking for one of those go-where-the-spirit-takes-you epic nights out you want to remember forever, call up a Sag. Read on for suggestions on how to get the most out of this chaotic (in a good way!…mostly), knowledge seeking, and divine time of year.

Set the Scene

When: Whenever the spirit moves you. Sagittarius plays by their own rules and has a fiercely independent spirit; so instead of making a strict suggestion of when to listen, we suggest really tapping into yourself to find the right moment. Looking for company? Fellow fire signs Aries and Leo will be down for whatever adventure you embark on!

Where: Sagittarius is the traveler of the zodiac, so why not pack up and find somewhere new! Perhaps a new local park or nature trail, or go all out and jetset to a fun new location and use this as your travel soundtrack!

What (to eat): Embrace the wandering energy of Sagittarius by going out of the box with flavors! Try our Organic Forbidden Bowl topped with house-made chimichurri and rawcho cheese sauce. Your something sweet pairing could be our fan-favorite Organic Elvis Smoothie.

Sagittarius fun fact: Sag is ruled by Jupiter, which is also associated with the liver. Support a healthy liver with detoxifying foods such as leafy greens (kale is a great option!), avocado, and citrus. Try our BBQ Tempeh Kale Caesar Salad for a hearty portion of organic kale! Come for the kale, stay for the housemade organic BBQ sauce and housemade organic caesar dressing.

Sagittarius Soundtrack Playlist

  • Oops…I Did It Again by Britney Spears: Britney is the reigning Sagittarius Pop Princess so it’s only right to open with a song that has kept its hold on 90s/00s kids everywhere. Sagittarians are regarded as heartbreakers because they’re not quick to commit and love their freedom, making this song perfect for them! Just try to not sing along when this song comes on, we dare you.

  • Midnight Sky by Miley Cyrus: Another Sagittarius pop star! The music most associated with Sagittarius is pop music, so it makes sense that so many of our most popular pop stars were born under this sign. Miley really digs into her Sagittarrius sun with the chorus, “I was born to run, I don't belong to anyone, oh no, I don't need to be loved by you”. Not even ex Liam Hemsworth with a chat full of stabilizing and rigid earth sign, Capricorn, could hold her back.

  • MOOD4EVA by Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Childish Gambino, Oumou Sangaré: The vibe and sound of the song, the fun and fashion of the video, Jay-Z himself has a Sagittarius sun...so many reasons this song embodies Sagittarius energy so we’ll just leave you with a sampling of “living your best life” energy lyrics, “'Cause every day above ground is a blessing, I done leveled up, now my view panoramic, None of my fears can go where I'm headed…”

  • The light is coming by Ariana Grande (feat Nicki Minaj): Self-proclaimed Queen of Rap herself, Nick Minaj, is a Sagittarius - but that’s not all the Sag this song has to offer. This song is a declaration of belief in self and that light will eventually pierce through the darkness.

  • Tutti Frutti by Little Richard: Trailblazer and revolutionary artist, Little Richard is, you guessed it, a Sagittarius! Crossing over onto the pop charts, Tutti Frutti became an international hit. Little Richard’s success led to integration at his performances as early as the 1950’s. Revolutionary, groundbreaking, but also TONS of fun - sounds like Sagittarius to us!
